Apex General Purpose Quick Dissolve LE agarose is a standard melting/gelling agarose suitable for a wide variety of nucleic acid and protein analytical and preparative applications using standard electrophoretic techniques. This multi-purpose agarose features a low EEO of 0.05-0.13, so macromolecules will have higher electrophoretic mobility than with other standard agaroses. This translates into shorter electrophoretic runs and sharper resolution for the user. DNA fragments purified from this agarose maintains full biological activity and can be readily digested and ligated. This agarose has been formulated to offer excellent gel transparency and exceptionally low absorption of staining agents. Lot to lot consistency ensures dependable, reproducible results.

Apex Quick Dissolve LE agarose is based on the same superior performance, parameters, applications and functional tests as those of Apex General Purpose Agarose. An additional characteristic of this particular type of agarose is the special particle size distribution, which provides an easier and faster dissolution step for the end user.
